Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Be warned:
This monitor has an unusable vertical viewing area.
I have one in front of me now, and looking straight at the screen, the top 2 inches of it are much much darker than the rest. If I move my head slightly up, the top brightens a bit and the lower part gets much darker.

So, every 12ms response monitor will have this terrible vertical viewing problem?
It's back to CRT with me.

Also, is it true that if you run in a non-native resolution, your response time goes up? If so, by how much?
Let me just add that I'm not that nit-picky about my monitors. But this problem is very bad... as an example:
When playing World of Warcraft, if I don't keep my head in the exact "sweet spot" for the monitor, my health bar becomes almost unreadable as it's red on a black background. The whole...
Oh man... this is not good at all... not at all...
It looks simply terrible. I really hope I can somehow convince BestBuy to let me return it.
I did extensive research on this model before I bought it, and I read nothing but absolutely glowing reviews of it. Never once was this problem...
I recently bought a 712N from BestBuy. I plugged it in and had 3 bright red bad pixels in the middle of the screen. I also noticed that if I moved my head slightly down when looking at the monitor, the top inch of the screen would become much darker.
I initially wanted to just get my money...
