Freezing fix (Possible) for ULI m5288 fix (for those with crossfire 3200 boards)
well did the beta drivers work or not i could not test cause board is in rma mode -

Uninstalled ULI SATA (Chipset?) entry from Add/Remove in Safe Mode. BSOD Stop 0X___7B
When you uninstalled the sata the os didn't know what to do. If you had installed windows sata drivers first before you deleted the uli You might have gotten away with that move. Plus if that board uses the dreaded uli 1575 You may have time out errors on the sata which give you lags freezes and... -

Do your research on the boards running the uli 1575 chip for sata. There are either bad chips or poorly configured or both. Bought dfi cfx 3200 and after 2 months the uli chip screwed up. You get hd time out errors and lockups had to put my os drive on the fast track controller card to get...- flybye444
