Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The vid calls a 3090, a 5+ year old GPU, a current graphics card, but the video was posted 13 days ago. Makes me wonder if they took that long to create the video or if they had it on the back burner. What a fantastic morning coffee video. I need to watch the other episodes.
I have both. Obviously, both are on opposite sides of the spectrum, but both provide exactly what I need. CP for my love of sci-fi and RDR2 for providing a pseudo-historical feeling with relaxing prairie rides.
Pretty insane how far we've come. It's almost fun reading through the instructions manual.

It's interesting how they cater to people that want to just stand put on 1 planet and those that want to keep planet hoping. I don't think I could ever stay put.
A month away and system requirements are still TBD. Why do they do that. I really enjoyed the first, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the 2nd. This time I'll get the most out of the first run by not using the highways.
I have a silver windowed V1000 and a black non-windowed V2000, and I can't stop thinking about if I should use them for a new build or not. The V1000 probably going with an external radiator. The V2000 possibly changing to silver or powder coating it white, but it at least has plenty of space to...
You know what that case really needs? Sit on a rotating pedestal with a rotary electrical connector for the 120v and a few ceiling floodlights shined at it. It would be so ridiculous that people would really want it.
Would have been fun to put a 200cfm 120x38 fan in the back and disregarding noise for the test. Who knows, maybe at 50% it wouldn't be that noisy but possibly still have a higher CFM than a skinnier fan.
I haven't played in 5+ years. Every now and then I do think of coming back, but I quickly remind myself why I left: the constant updates that change tank and weapon stats and the bigger the wallet the bigger the winner you are.
This is why I sold the CRT. I still crank up UT2k4 once in a while as it still is the best gaming years of my life, but the detail, lighting, and all the other effects with modern games...my goodness. My affinity for modern graphics and the details it can produce outweighs pixel nostalgia. With...
So lets talk about "necessary". For 10+ years, I was running 2 x Samsung 24" 1920x1200s for my work and home PC. I thought the Samsungs had great text quality. I don't code much, but I do look at a lot of spreadsheets for work, I read tons of articles, and I answer far too many emails than I...
I've been PC gaming since the 1980s. It all started with some 320x200 resolution monitor I think it was which wasn't even in color. I've slowly seen the progression of resolutions in monitors I've had from that to 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1600x1200, 1920x1200, 2304x1440, and finally to...
Ah. I removed it due to deep scratches. I never considered the coating on it could actually be removed from the film. Now that I think about it, I don’t believe I’ve ever read of it being removed.
The first internet MP games I did was Mechwarrior 2 and Red Alert via dial up. The first real LAN gameplay was with UT99 during the holidays. I'd bring my rig to my aunt's house, and I'd play with my cousins till 3am for over a week straight. That eventually evolved to multiple home LAN parties...
It's not a coating. It's a big ole sticker. I removed it from an HP equivalent FW900. You need to disassemble the whole monitor to gain access to the edges of the front glass. It's actually quite simple to remove. At least it was for me 15 something years ago. It practically peels right off. The...
