Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I can not recommend the LP2065, since i've already sent back 3 of them with irregular back lighting and uneven reddish colour tint from left to right.
It would be a dream-tft otherwise.
i don't think that's really an issue, your HDMI is just as 'digital' as a DVI would be
it's only a matter of the right cables
get a DVI -> HDMI readymade cable, that's the best shot at zero issues
Just make sure you get along with IPS, do a real-life check with different plain grey/color
background.
(some users find a disturbing surface glitter with them)
personally it doesn't bother me the slightest bit;
i find some bleed in blacks far less disturbing than a 'dirty' white
or even worse uneven color distribution.
i mean, when do you really 'use' your corners in pitch black?
that's basically defect 2 of 2 possible
you should definitely try another PC
for the video-card:
check if it sits tightly in the socket
check the cable (or try another one)
do you have worn out or bent connectors?
check heat production / cooling of the Geforce
try another DVI connector on the...
i'm usually stepping back a notch on the refresh rate since it's making it harder for the monitor to draw a sharp image - that's what my superstitious mind figured anyway ;)
yes it definitively is, as has been mentioned f you want an additional method to verify:
dim your ambient light
display a fullscreen black
now when you move your head around at close distance in angles to the screen you will notice a purple/yellowish haze fading from the corners
that's unique...
It can be done but only when connected over DVI.
You need to set the scaling method to none/don't scale in your graphics-driver.
Once set every solution below native will only use the actual amount of pixel the resolution consists of, meaning you get the smaller picture centered within black...
I'm experiencing slight inconsistencies with my LP2065 in both colour and light distribution;
It doesn't specifically look like backlight bleeding, more like the lamps were emitting different levels of colour and intensity along their length.
Do the lamps break in over time, meaning they even...
I think what you have are subpixel defects, meaning only one or two of the three pixel units comprising a full pixel are dead.
How many of those defects do you have?
i'm having some slight issues with an uneven pink-tint horizontally on my brand-new HP LP2065;
Now i was wondering if that might be the backlight lamps - to get started i'm looking for information as to how the backlight is built.
How are the lamps positioned? Along the longer edges on top...
