    Bad choice getting a 20 pin PSU with the DFI NF4 ultra-D?

    I have a DFI Lanparty NF4 Ultra D and I am using an X-Connect 500W PSU with no problems. I bought the 20 - 24 ATX cord made by X-Connect though. Runs great... I am at 275x8.5 on air currently until all of my water cooling parts make it here(it never gets above 40 degrees under load on air...

    Any chance your case fan and the card fan are fighting each other? Kinda like those PCI exhaust fans that they sell... they pull air out of your case yet most HSF on video cards blow toward the card... so if you place the exhaust fan too close they fight each other for air. Other option is...
