Moving from 1680x1050 to 1920x1080, worth it?

If there isn't much of a difference going from 22" 1680 to a 23"/24" 1920, what about 25" or 27" 1920 x 1080? I also have a 22" LG and was looking at the HP 2509m and 2709m. I think they look pretty nice and the price is decent. I know they're TN panels, but I'm ok with that as my pc monitors...

Screw the iPhone, what else is good out there ?

What kind of browser comes with the Epix or Fuze? If they're still using Pocket IE, I would recommend going with Opera mini or Skyfire. I used Skyfire on 3125 that had Win Mo 5.0.

    Compatability of unlocked phone

Unlocked phones are also available on Newegg and Dell. I actually got my unlocked phone from Dell last week. To the OP, I purchased an unlocked Nokia N85 NAM, which may fit what you're looking for. The N85 NAM version is a quad band gsm phone with 3 bands of 3G, WCDMA 850/1900/2100. It is...

Short PC Case to fit an ATI HD4870x2

Hope this helps. I would recommend the Coolermaster Elite 335. Its just under 17 inches in height. I posted some pictures a few months ago. It should give you an idea of it size. The card I have is the 4850. The 4870x2 is probably an extra inch longer...

New P5Q build, unable to complete Vista installation

Do you have another cd drive? I'd try another cd drive.

    Wireless Issues

Have you tried changing the channel? I also live in a condo complex, and most everyone was either on channel 6 or 11.

    Monitoring Temps

Yes it actually lists the gpu core twice. The temps and voltage are the same, though I did one gpu core go up a degree then followed by the other core.

    Monitoring Temps

I'm trying out HWMonitor and had a quick question. Why does HWMonitor list my video card twice? Is it because I have a second monitor connected to my video card?

    WPA2 passphrase question

Depending how secure your friend wants the router to be, you may want to change it anyway. My router originally defaulted to WEP with a 8 digit passphrase. I switched to WPA2, which had an empty text box, and put in a 63 character passphrase.

    E7300 stock temps

I'm using RealTemp, and am getting 29C on both cores at idle. My system is stock. Your temps seem fine, maybe just bit high. Are you using the stock cooling heatsink? How's your air circulation?

AntiVir Personal Free edition - pop-up ad wtf?

Thats how its set up on my machine and its a work computer, so its never turned off. However the problem could be the crappy Charter ISP we have at work. :)

AntiVir Personal Free edition - pop-up ad wtf?

I use Avira free and find it works very well. Its resources are pretty light. I like it better than AVG 8.0. I like AVG 7.5 over 8.0. My problem with AVG 8.0 is its inability to update itself. It constantly fails to connect to the server, so I have to constantly do a manual update. The nag...

Samsung T220 vs LG W2252TQ vs BenQ E2200HD

Backlight bleed is very minor. Its in the lowest part of the screen, but its only noticeable in a dark room, and barely. Its much better than my Dell 1704 lcd. Neither of the monitors were hooked directly to a computer, so I had compare based on the scrolling images. Both the Samsung and LG...

    BIOS Settings Locked

I think they do it to keep people out. If they gave full access to the bios, can you imagine the havoc. Tech support costs would probably explode. Locked or propietary bioses is nothing new. Dells and most retail pcs are like that. If you want full acces to the bios, I suggest you build a...
