    Yeah, I found out by trial and error, lol. I used a Corsair h60 and an Antec 620 for some of my mITX builds, and they work great.

    the cooler is useless on a mini-itx board with a card in the pci-e slot. so like a graphics card would prevent the cooler from even fitting, or vice versa.

    if you're using an x58 w/ tri-channel ram you should really have all 3 ram slots full for best performance. :)

    my goal is a small nas server using mini-itx motherboard and case, 6-8 2tb drives, socket 1155 i3 or i5, using onboard video/ intel hd 2-3000. the hardware raid card goes in the only 16x pcie slot. is this feasible?
