Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
crap I was just about to RMA mine, it's having some issue, for some reason it's double clicking when it should be single clicking... anyone have this issue?
I'm looking for a cheap, lightly used C2D, not looking to spend more than $100, e-mail me if you have one for sale. I have heat under fireblast713. Thanks
If one were to come across a Q6600 ES, would it be worth keeping? It is my understanding that all Q6600's ES's are B3 steppings, hypothetically wouldn't it be better to just get a G0 Q6600? I'm asking in regards to overclocking. Anyways advice on this situation would be appreciated.
Thanks for the advice guys, I think I'll wait till I go quad core to get a new PSU, right now my PSU seems to be doing fine with an OC'ed E6300, so when price drops hit, I'll just pop a quad core in and maybe a new psu and go :). What do you guys think about the $100 OCZ 700W GamerXStream over...
So I have a 535 Enermax Whisper power supply left over from my old build. I will be running the following hardware:
Q6600
8800GTX
2gb PC6400 RAM 2.2V
2 Optical Drives
4 SATA Hard Drives
5 120mm Fans
XFi Xtreme Music
Am I going to be ok or should I upgrade? I don't plan on going SLI...
