My issue is the 1080 vertical lines is 1080 isnt enough. I really think there are 3 things that would make the market explode, if either there was a monitor with 1200 vertical lines, making it a 3200x1200. This resolution should still be low enough to be supported by current interfaces at 60hz... -

It would actually be a perfect monitor for some professionals as well. For me I want one for music editing. 2560x1080 Monitors - Good/Bad?
Ive said it before and Ill say it again. The first company to release a 2800x1200 21:9 monitor that I can overclock with my titan to 75+hz will get 2 purchases, one for my home computer and one for my work computer. Until then I will make do with what I have. -

The year is 2015, you have $1000 to spend on a single monitor, what do you buy?
My ideal would be an ultrawide 32:9 with at least 1200pixel height. I think that's possibly past the limitations of a single cable, though I might be wrong. Maybe we need a monitor that has 2 inputs on a single panel? Or at the very least a 21:9 with 2800x1200 pixels. I cant wait until a... -

No Bezel 3Monitor setup.
Yeah but that was 2880x900 (though I remember it being 720p for some reason) and $6k+ and still bad for gaming, it was more a concept than production model for market... If they made a 32:10 ish monitor with 1200p for under $1200 I guarantee it would be a hit as long as it hit all the check...
