True, nothing wrong with using what you have. I even have a SAS drive that I will use.:p But two 120gb vertexes is plenty of storage and its fast. I load levels in cod4 with one X25-M more than twice as fast as a friend with 640gb WD raid. The speed that it gives in windows in general...

It wont hurt to wait. SSDs will only get better, cheaper, and bigger while you are saving :) All my old Hdds died, so I had no choice.

I hate to shatter your little world, but 4 vertexes will shatter anything he is doing with SAS. You are proud that your little 4 drive SAS array does 350 mb/sec. ONE Intel X25-M does 250+ mb/sec. One SSD = THIRTEEN 15k Sas drives in Random IO per Anandtech. 10k 2.5 in sas drives do like 90...
