Geforce GTX 1060 vs Radeon RX 480: Das bringen Direct3D 12 und Vulkan - Golem.de
The 1060 is slower than 480 in DX12/Vulkan and NV does not have any current answer in this price bracket other than not buying a 1060.
AMD is not going to come in play until Vega and Polaris is aiming at the sub 1070 crowd...NV will own the high end crowd for awhile so might as well just upgrade sell and swap until the big guns come out.
I'm getting a free 980 hand me down = ) and been in the market for a new display. Current display is 1680x1050 and I'm sick of it...Should I go Gsync 1440p or a standard 4k.
Thoughts? is Gsync that good?

Crossfire might be a reason, pretty impressive for day 1 drivers without a OC.

Crysis 3...let see on the single card shoot out non oc 2 extra fps for over 300$ more, then lets oc the NV card 500mhz more than AMD...lower fps but one higher IQ setting for 300$ more...albeit power draw =p
Now if every game ran like that I would never consider a NV card other than power draw...
