Awesome review, i truly believe that once massified, this products will become even cheaper than current hard drives, given the fact that no mechanic counterparts are required.
Dell 2007WFP rev A04
When pressing the combination of buttons i get V1B22 RT803, lucky me, S-IPS.
Back label says, "Made in Mexico" and the code number end with "40ML"
There is one dead pixel at the lower right corner of the screen, not seeable at all unless there's white in that area.
I'm also from Argentina, umm you should've read my post first, before buying OCZ :P.
Go to wherever you bought your ram and tell them it's not compatible with your mobo and that they didn't warn you about it when you bought it.
So spook you got DDR2 667MHz 4-4-4-12 at 2.1V?
I prefer DDR2 800MHZ 5-5-5-12 at 1.8V, let's hope we get a bios update for us to change CT and be able to achieve our rated DDR2 800MHZ 4-4-4-12 at 2.1V
Well i also believe that the problem lies in not being able to set the Command Rate for memory it looks like it's being defaulted to 1T.
To those who tested beta bios, do any bios have this option available?
I said so dude, i can't get it to boot at DDR800 4-4-4-12 2.1V, i could only boot with DDR667 5-5-5-18 1.8V.
And yes you need to install the JMicron drivers otherwise you are stuck with PIO mode in the Secondary Ide Channel.
Stay away from OCZ for this mobo, i had those modules returned and got:
TWIN2X2048-6400C4
But now the following happens, i can't get it to work at 800 4-4-4-12 with 2.1V.
I'm running it at it's default now which is:
667 5-5-5-15
Couple of questions about this mobo, i got Rev 2.0:
1. My PSU has two 4 pin JPWR connectors, should i remove the cap and plug both in, or just one?
2. I got 2GB of Gold Dual Channel XTC OCZ ram, code OCZ2G8002GK, anyone tried those with this mobo? I saw at OCZ that it's ok.
3. Anything else...
