Not yet, but I can only imagine how laggy it would be. I'm on A12 PixelExperience right now, and planning to roll back to the previous ROM because the UI is just too unresponsive in comparison.
Update: Good news, you can easily downgrade to A11 again from A12. I reverted to crDroid v316, it was...
I figured it out. While the TWRP screen was bootlooping, I used a USB cable and ADB command "adb reboot bootloader" to get into bootloader mode. Then the only thing I found that would kick me out of the recovery bootloop was to select "Boot to FBMI" which I am not sure what that is, but it did...
I just double checked and I think I'm having the same issue as you now. I was able to reboot to TWRP 3.5.2_9-0 with no issue, even after installing A12 rom but before creating a PIN code to unlock. But after doing that, now TWRP just bootloops. So it does appear that the encryption in A12 causes...
Thanks again Crimson.
Just wanted to report to everyone that I got A12 installed and working using the link I posted in my edit to my previous post. Since I had already installed the 6gb international and got up to A11, all I had to do was reboot to TWRP and flash the .img of the A12 "Plus"...
Thanks Crimson, looking forward to it.
Looking at that link you posted, I recognize this as a file I already flashed on my Xneo a few months ago, which allowed me to flash A11 crDroid with 5ghz working. With that said, do you know if I can skip flashing the international again, and go straight...
Thanks CrimsonKnight I appreciate your historical hard work on this project.
I must've missed that, thanks for bring it to my attention. Do you know where this person obtained the "6GB modded global rom" I am not certain of where this is stored but would like to try it. Or perhaps pjrodriguez...
CrimsonKnight13 or anyone, do you think there's any chance we'll get Android 12 on the XNEO? Currently crDroid is up to A11 and releases stopped 2022-03-20. I was hoping for a little more security and feature updates from this tablet, before it's considered dead to updates.
Also just a side...
Thanks for sharing this information! I wonder how it is still going for you a month later? Also, what benefit does the HW+ decoder provide?
Update: I flashed the newest crdrom-v302-210315-arm64-bgZ today, and I am seeing that it does detect and join my WiFi 5ghz network. I had trouble with...
I have this issue too, especially when swiping from the screen edges in fullscreen mode. There are reviewers on youtube who have also mentioned this issue. It is an issue across multiple ROMs, so I believe it to be hardware related.
Quick question: Has anyone achieved 5ghz WiFi on any custom ROMs yet?
I see CrimsonKnight mention that the "New kernel & vendor do not allow 5GHz WiFi on GSI", should I interpret that as no GSI ROM will (probably) ever allow 5ghz WiFi?
Back to report that I've been using the tablet rooted for a week now, and I've settled on CAOS rom. It is the most stable with least issues than othe ROMs. Second up was crDroid, especially with the built-in ROM customization tools, but they did not compile a Gapps compatible version, which I...
Looking good! As I was going through the process, I took a few notes, and detailed the steps for flashing a ROM. You might find this useful to add to the guide, and a new section at the end for "Flashing ROMs"
Boot shortcut keys
Flashing ROMs:
Flashing anything inside TWRP
Known Issues so...
I tried a couple more ROMs, Bliss and Bless, however the system crashes when joining any WiFi network. I reverted to CAOS for now, and searched for the Magisk module you mentioned. I think it's called "Wifi Bonding (Qcom)" and says it "Doubles your wi-fi bandwidth by modifying...
Confirmed that these ROMs only show 2.4ghz networks, no 5ghz in list:

bliss-v217-200602-arm64ab-vanilla.img
losq-v221-200728-arm64-bvN.img.xz
I wonder if there is something specific to this chip that requires special drivers to recognize 5ghz...
