Received the HP2475w from HP direct for $569 earlier this week and it looks great. I tried the viewing suggestions above to determine what it is and based on this thread I believe the unit I have is IPS. It pops at 1920x1200 and very responsive, bright at all angles, no color loss or variation...

Thanks for the insight. Does ANYONE ELSE know how to confirm it has an IPS panel when I get the unit?

I ordered one today from HP and the sales guy said "its internal information" when I asked what type of panel it had. When I pointed out the spec on the HP website, he said "oh yeah, IPS", lol. How do I actually confirm it has an IPS panel when I get the unit next week?
