I have made my mind up and not to update to Haswell-e, cause the architecture is the same that i currently own so clock to clock the performance is the same. However! If Broadwell-e brings additional performance to the table, or Skylake-e will be delayed to the Q1 17, then i will buy the...- fapman

Yes, but why do you own the Lamborghini? Because you can, and you want it. okok, i get your point! But i really think in someway would benefit from 6 or more cores. Maybe Intel has brainwashed me(?)- fapman

If i'm not going to upgrade to Haswell-e (probably not) and Broadwell-e is so close to Skylake-e, i'm going to go with Skylake-e for sure. The mainstream stuff is not really interesting to me anymore. But thanks! going to probably wait for skylake-e then.- fapman

Hello, I'm currently running 4770k @4.3 ghz, with 1.3vo. Also have 16gb's of dominator platinum ram. (Currently also running Kraken x61, 980ti gigabyte g1, Rog swift etc. Also total rocking 3 monitors.) Now, what i'm holding of to NOT to do, is buy Haswell-e. You dont basically for atleast BF4 to crank down the settings in 1440p, yes maby AA- you need to turn down, but other than that G-sync will make the game look smooth at 45> fps. (this is using 4770K and 780ti)
