    Okay, thank you for your help. The array reinitialized with the missing HD, and is now in redundancy failed mode, and will have to stay that way til replacement arrives. The messed up HD will get some debugging love in another less important computer. And I'll uninstall the NV drivers...

    I guess you're right... But meh.. I wonder if I can reinitialize a dynamic raid5 array with one disk missing... Oh, and the RMA process costs more than a new HD -_- (shipping).

    The NV IDE driver version is 5.10. I'm going to try 5.20, but I have little hope of it working. And I turned off NCQ. I did a speedtest on the 3 drives connected to the NV SATA controller that I know works and it didn't bluescreen, then I did a test on the drive that's acting up and it did...

    Its a 580W Tagan PSU in "combine mode" (A whole lot of amps). It worked before, and BIOS does detect it, and by the time it gets to windows they're already spun up... I just tried disconnecting all ATA drives except the Primary Master, still takes as long to load windows, and the drive is not...
