    From personal experience I would go with GTX 570 just because it's not ATI/AMD. My 5850 is the last ATI video card I'll have just because of the dual monitor flickering problem. It's an old problem and ATI never fixed it even if they release MONTHLY driver updates.

    Currently have i5 2500K, 8gigs of RAM and a XFX 5850. I game at 1920x1200. BFBC2 runs fine but as soon as there are a lot of explosions nearby the FPS drops down to a low 20fps. So even if 95% of the time the fps is at 60fps, would adding a second 5850 be helpful. They are pretty cheap now...

    Yup I'm using USB KB & Mouse. Not sure if I can find ps2 ones since they are beginning to be obsolete! I'll try switching between SATA and AHCI also. I was playing COD5 on xbox 360 while waiting it out ;)

    Not sure it has to do with the DVD vs USB key thing. I've found something about ICH9 SATA Controller with my board having timeouts. It's really timeouts of 5 - 10 mins that I'm having during install.
