does this monitor still show up in windows when its turned off and connected via hdmi or displayport? The previous 1440p version didnt via displayport which is "in spec" but using hdmi would limit it to uncompressed hdmi 1.0 or something.

what settings did you use for this? no matter what settings I use it will either crop the 16:9 content to 21:9 or ignore the black bars in the 21:9 content
