As mentioned earlier, I have october build BL3200PT. Still no problems after 3 weeks of usage.
Looking forward hearing what firmware Benq uses to fix the problem. My display has the same firmware that flickering ones also have. Maybe there is a separate chip for panel firmware and that info...
What graphics card do you have? What connector you used? It's weird that some have this problem and some don't and manufacturing month seems to have no effect to it. Maybe BenQ is using panels from multiple factory lines and only one is good? And getting one that works is pure luck. Then again...
Do you think that setting gamma to 1 i.e. gamma 2.2. actually looks good? I find that it makes the picture look flat/washed out. And it also makes VA-panel's gamma raising effect much worse, i.e. picture is brighter when watched off center and gamma 2.2 makes this more noticeable.
After some...
Yes, there is one band 1/4 from the left side and another weaker band 3-4 inches right from the center of the screen. Those don't bother me in desktop usage, for some reason they seem to disappear with static program windows or webpages scrolled down/up. But gaming with sideways movement...
There is nothing in the manual saying that AMA should be switched off for desktop usage.
I downloaded your picture, opened it with Windows picture viewer, zoomed two steps and when I move the picture with my mouse, I don't get any flashing. I tried with all AMA settings.
So maybe BenQ has...
Yes, I see that effect with the GreenMagenta page but I'd like to find/download a normal picture that shows this. I don't play games (using just Intel Graphics...) so I can't test with those but is there a screencapture that I could use to test?
I don't see any flashing problems with that...
I just got this display. Is there a test picture that I could use to test if this also flickers? I have tried Google maps but was unable to make the picture flicker. The GreenMagenta page causes screen wide raster effect if viewed in a small window.
This unit is manufactured on october and...
I have the same problem. I had to switch back to my old 24" Dell 2407WFP screen because 27" is not usable to me, pixels just are too small.
I think we both have the same Viewsonic VP2770 monitor, but I think different 27" monitor will not fix this, you just need bigger screen with larger...
Just regular stuff: web, email, Office, Photoshop, divx-movies, video/tv (2 TV-cards and DScaler and DVBViewer). I don't play games, sometimes I just try some game demos etc.
The reviewed Eizo does not have EzUp base, EzUp base is round. You can buy the monitor with that regular base or with EzUp base. No problems with build quality. Landscape suspension point is missing but then again Dell 2408WFP was tilted to right so Eizo's freedom to finetune screen tilt...
Remove Dell 2408WFP from your list and add this: Eizo S2431W. It sells under 800 euros.

But the 2407WFP-HC works that way (and it doesn't have oversharpness problems). So did Dell make a mistake when they enabled 2408WFP's 1920x1200 sharpness adjustment?
I'm not talking about ClearType. I don't use ClearType, I really hate the effect it makes to some letters. No matter what you...
