[Solved] Overdrive on U2412M
Hey. I purchased a U2412M, but i have problems finding the factory menu/service menu. Could anyone please point out how i access it? i wish to enable overdrive. I just bought this monitor, after using a 2ms TN 24" panel. Arrived today, and im using it as i write. I absolutely love it, and i thought the ghosting/blur would be a problem. But i don't even notice it with overdrive off, hah. -

Should i choose 120hz or IPS?

So? Is Dell U2410 worth buying?
U2410 is a great monitor but might be overkill, for your needs. Keep in mind that, Windows, most websites and games use default sRGB 6-bit colour profile. U2410 utilizes 8-bit colour, and it will make colours look different than they are "supposed" to do. It can be improved by using a sRGB... -

I would personally advice you, to not only go for the "best bang of your buck". Monitors is just as important, as your computer hardware. If i were in the same situation tho, i would probably purchase a Dell U2312HM. -

HP ZR2440w, is among some of the newer 24" IPS monitor released. Not long till it gets a review, personally i would wait for the review before you purchase any 24". Tftcentral.co.uk, is working on the review. Based on what the reviewer is writing on the forums, it seems promising. -

The Dell Ultrasharp are good monitors, the U2312HM seems to be a perfect fit for you. Cheap, 23" with good reviews, and surprisingly good for games. Just thought i would mention if you find the 8ms to be much, it isn't. (Can be discussed, but most people won't notice a difference now these... -

Alright, not entirely convinced the 120hz is going to make a difference in general for me. The 3D glasses from Nvidia seems very overpriced aswell. However if i choose 120hz monitor, which should i purchase? I am looking for a display around 23-24". (27" on 1080p, is the resolution too small?)...
