Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

When I go into Windows, it tries to...
Tried another monitor, still the same.
I bought the card 2nd hand but believe it is still under warranty. I had the prob from the moment I installed it. I guess the answer is to test it in another PC to see if it's working OK.
The problem appears even on the Windows login screen. It looks like the probs in your thread relate to stuff getting left behind by a program. Not sure if this is the same thing or not?
I've tried 3 different drivers including the latest. It still has the same problem. Although, I haven't used Drivercleaner. Is that likely to make a difference?
I've just installed an X1900XTX 512Mb. Since doing so, I have a display corruption. Like this:
In program windows, they also appear and leave pink trails if you move the window.
I've tried the latest driver and e-installed Catalyst Control Centre but no change. The problem disappears...
