I'm looking to upgrade my current rig, and I think my main problem area is my video card, but I'm not certain. I'd rather not spend the money to start over, so would it be sufficient to play all the epic games coming out to just upgrade my 9800GTX? And if so, what should I upgrade it to?

Are you guys saying that the the software needs to be of decent quality in order to get the best results from the BD drive?
All I'm concerned about is getting good quality (the full and true 1080p) Blu-Ray and standard DVD playback from a machine using an ATI 4350. Are these cheaper BD drives...
How important is this? I don't have the TV just yet, will be getting it within the next couple of months. It will be over 40", 1080P, and definitely have HDMI/DVI outputs and such. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the quick replies!
The motherboard is an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe with an AMD 5600+ Dual Core (Basically leftovers from upgrading my gaming machine).
To be honest, I'm not familiar with media machines, so I'm just looking for the best video playback quality for my buck. I'd really...
Hi, first let me state that after strenuous forums and google searching, I have no found very conclusive answers.
I was wondering what I should be looking for in a video card that will be primarily used for video playback; basically hooked to an HDTV that stores all my movies etc. that will...
I've seen mATX boards with SLI support, but most are from early 2006. Do they make any newr ones? And if they do, do they make any for AMD?
Newegg certainly has no SLI capable ones for AMD...
Anyone know anything about this?
FS: BFG Tech 8800GTS G92, factory sealed.
I bought this thinking I had the money to do so, but... well, I don't, so now I need to get rid of it and recoup the lost money. I put it up on ebay, but they want a piece of the pie, so I figured I could give it a shot selling it here...
As said, it's...
Well, I ask because i'm upgrading to SLi in a couple of weeks (dual 8800GT's, or whatever is out at the time). In this case, should I got with the 850w?
Also, on a side note, when overclocking my processor even the slightest bit, I get the blue windows screen crash. I know that it isn't...
Essentially, I have a 550w PSU working great with my current setup. However, I now have an 850w PSU of equal quality still in the box, but I am unsure whether to sell it or use it. Can too much power be harmful?
