This card sounds amazing. I would love to buy one of these, but I'm not sure if my processor would be holding it back. I have a dual 2.8 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon E5462. Is that even a concern? Any insight would be welcome, thanks in advance.
I've posted this in 3 threads now... but yeah, I have Sennheiser PC350s and Shure SRH 840s. The sound with the Creative X-FI Titanium HD is light years better than the onboard Realtek Audio on my machine and even blows my previous Fatal1ty card out of the water. The built-in headphone amp does...
I have Paradigm Cinema 70 5.1 speakers with an NAD T747 receiver (which I absolutely love). I also use Sennheiser PC350 and Shure SRH840 headphones, and I just bought a Creative X-FI HD card which has upgraded the headphone experience beyond all expectations.
I just bought the X-FI Titanium HD a few days ago. Previously I was using a Titanium Fatal1ty. Frankly, I'm blown away by the difference when using my PC350s. I've had these headphones for over a year and I was always a little disappointed with the sound I could get through my computer, but all...
Well, I've reinstalled FF 3.6, and now my gpu usage is rock solid at 0, temperature stable at 35º, fan at 34%. I'd love to know if other people get these results with Firefox 4/6970, or is it jittery?
I have this card. Noob question: I'm not getting anywhere near the same results as they're reporting in Crysis Warhead, about 10FPS less using the same settings. Is my processor the bottleneck? I have an 8-core (2xquad) Xeon E5462, 2.8GHz, 8GB RAM.
This Asus HD 6970 is the first ATI card I've owned. I was having a lot of weird issues ever since I bought it, but the 11.1a hotfix seems to have cured most of it. Previously my GPU temperature was fluctuating between 47 and 60 degrees constantly and the core and memory clock would spike up to...
Thanks EW27 for the reply,
I've pretty much decided to go with the 2490, sounds like this is one of, if not 'the', best all around 24" monitors out there. Now I just have to find a store in Canada that actually has one in stock.:)
I was planning to buy a Dell 24", but after a weird experience, and a lot of reading on these forums and elsewhere, I'm now leaning towards the NEC LCD2470WNX or the LCD2490WUXi.
I recently ordered a 2407WFP-HC from LUcomputers.com in Canada for $639.00 (because Dell.ca had it for $699.00)...
