Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
The S2440L is on sale for $240 this week at Best Buy. I was able to get one for me and one for my dad.
I dunno, it looked pretty good to me in the store--it was obvious even in those poor conditions that the black level was far superior to all the other monitors, and the reflections didn't...
It gets even better...
I put my old card back in, and now it's artifacting all over the place. First after playing a game for a couple of minutes, now even in Windows. Even screws up the characters during POST. Doesn't matter if it's cooled off for ten seconds or an hour. Also seems...
Haha, oh man...what a disappointment this turned out to be.
First, after I installed the card I was plauged with the infamous high CPU usage bug -- just sitting on the Windows desktop idling, the CPU usage was fluctuating between 35-50%, and none of the processes in the Task Manager tab were...
I hear ya, man. My 3850 arrived today -- after I had submitted the order the other night, I sat there and just got sick to my stomach from the guilt, knowing that I shouldn't be spending the money. But, I was worried that they might discontinue these cards soon and I want to make my system last...
Did you install the drivers for the FW900? It needs the proper display driver for the BNC connection, since it's not Plug 'N Play like the VGA connection is.
Correct driver:

Very true. CRT monitors and TVs have huge capacitors that store up large amounts of voltage. They can be unplugged for months, and still have enough power to kill.
I must have gotten lucky with mine, because there is just one spot where there are two minor scratches at the top of the bezel. I think I'll try a silver Sharpie pen on them.
Would it hurt to use the image restoration function more than once? I used it earlier today, and it fixed all the washed out colors and such. Then I read later that you (mathesar) had said to raise the brightness a bit before using it...
Also, funny enough, the monitor was already set at 30...
Just got my monitor about an hour ago. I've unpacked it, set it up, and am using it as I type this. :D I'm waiting 30 mins so I can do the image restoration, as the colors are quite washed out, and there's a greyish/green tint to everything, which I think I remember other people here talking...
Mine shipped out on the 10th. There were updates as it was traveling across the country. It just should that it had departed, and then after about five days it showed that it arrived at March Air Force Base. I'm sorry to hear about your trouble with DHL. I hope everything works out for you soon.
Blah, DHL's tracking page has been working fine for me, and the past couple of days it has shown today as the estimated delivery date. It got scanned in to City Of Industry's distribution station this morning, so I expected I would get it today... Nothing so far, so I figure it'll hopefully be...
Looks like he's got another 10 listed:

Well, I'm not sure how long it will take to get from Massachusetts to California, but my monitor shipped yesterday. Yay. Now I just need to relax and tell myself it's going to be all scratched up, so if it arrives messed up, I won't be so disappointed. And if it looks good (like Mathesar's) then...
Eh, I was refering to gprime's post. Not the other guy who posted screens from a 360 dev kit on the Dell. In gprime's shots, a 1080i signal fed to the 2405 produced a proper aspect ratio, with black bars on the top and bottom. Perhaps the 360 has the ability to scale the dashboard to 1920x1200...
