Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Impressive. This thread has done more for my impression of Patriot than any ads or reviews could possibly do. I've been a loyal Kingston customer after multiple bad experiences with Crucial and OCZ, but after the [H] brethren have spoken, I have no choice to add Patriot to my "thumbs up" RAM...

My northbridge fan finally died on my K8N Neo4 Platinum (big surprise</sarcasm>), so I'm using this as an excuse for a MB/Proc upgrade. I got a Q6600 (G0 stepping) and a Gigabyte P35-DS3R. Here's the full rig:
Q6600 SLACR w/Stock HSF
GB-P35-DS3R
2x1GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2 1066
