Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Humm... I have been running mine for over 4hours with 2 instance of Orthos (you need to set the Affinity to use all 4 cores) at 3.2ghz on a GA-965p-ds3 with Bios8i... so far everything looks really good and I will try to push it a little harder...
Oh yah... I am running the Small FFt to...
yah, I have spent the past week trying everything I could think of!! I was even able to boot at 3.78ghz and ran PCMark05 successfully, BUT unable to run ORTHOS nor Prim (my temp is ~65 under load and and I tried vcore from 1.38 up to 1.55)...
Has anyone noticed that it seems that the GA-965P-DS3 can only be stable up to 3.6ghz?? I can boot higher, but no matter what I do (9x410 or 8*460) with a wide range of Voltages nothing helpsto pass Orthos or Prim for more than 10minutes. Also, if you look at the table on the first page there...
:lol you have a good point... but those Conroe (or Woodcrest) are incredible!! At work I have been using a Cloverton for a while and all I can say is another BIG WOW (haven't seen the desktop part yet)!!!!
First post... All I have to say the Core 2 Duo is AWESOME!!!
