I have the xim2 and it requires a pc to operate. The xim3 is stand-alone. I am disabled in one hand, and wouldn't be able to play xbox games without it. I also use a fragpedal . If you prefer key/mouse gaming and have an xbox I highly recommend it. It is a quality product.When the xim3 launches...
