I forgot to plug in the power supply to the video card. I havn't built a computer recently, and the last time i built one, you didnt have to do that. :-) Thanks for the help everyone.
We have reinstalled the drivers, and have installed the monitors drivers. We have tried it at a lower resolution, and the refresh rate override isnt enabled.
We did buy the card refurbished from newegg though...
I built my girlfriends computer... everything went great except I am having Video card issues.
Whenever she gets into a game, or 3dmark, the monitor shuts off and says no input signal. I thought it may have been the monitor, so I hooked mine up and it did the same thing. Thus, I've narrowed...
It's a custom build machine... I built it about 2 years ago, I got 2 case fans. I pulled the heatsink off, and my thermal paste is like everywhere but on the core. I am ganna attempt to redo it tomorrow. Do you think I should just buy a new heatsink? or just re-therm it?
