    nope... I'm just an idiot. I forgot to plug in the power supply to the video card. I havn't built a computer recently, and the last time i built one, you didnt have to do that. :-) Thanks for the help everyone.

    We have reinstalled the drivers, and have installed the monitors drivers. We have tried it at a lower resolution, and the refresh rate override isnt enabled. We did buy the card refurbished from newegg though...

    It's a custom build machine... I built it about 2 years ago, I got 2 case fans. I pulled the heatsink off, and my thermal paste is like everywhere but on the core. I am ganna attempt to redo it tomorrow. Do you think I should just buy a new heatsink? or just re-therm it?
