    get the 650 cable and see how it works for you dont go blowing a ton of money on a cardas cable or another high-end cable until you have a nice amp and have been convinced that cables "make" a difference.

    Sennheisers are by FAR my fav headphones not only for the sound q but also for comfort. the hd595s go over your ears and have a very nice padding thats soft on the cans itself and on top. i got mine on ebay too for about 155 shipped, was a good deal and i'm more than happy with them

    the 580s almost need an amp to really get out the good sound, as they are close to 300ohms. i would say snap a setup of the 595s if you can. thats what i got, and after listening to both, i like the 595s more, less paunchy bass, and overall better quality. build quality is also better on the 595s.
