The first time I put in one of the coolers for the 775 quads it sucked, but thats because I was doing it wrong. It wasnt to bad the next few times... I just bought an artic cooler 64 for my next build, hopefully it wont be to bad

My wife wont let me spend that much money, so i7 is out for me. If i was going to buy an i7 system I would probably wait till mid next year though... I think prices will start to drop by then

I got a pretty good deal on a p45 intel motherboard and q9300 processor recently, but I also just bought a evga 790i ultra and want to use that motherboard. I'm going to sell the p45 and was thinking of selling the q9300 also and getting a q9450 or q9550, whichever I can get a good price on...

keep it, a lot of great games just came out

I just bought an EVGA 790i ultra motherboard(for $160) and for now I just bought a 9500gt for $45 on newegg. I plan on either buying two 260s or 280s next year for sli when the 300 series comes out and the 200s drop a lot in price. Then I can use the 9500 for a physx card :)

I was going to suggest having your eyes checked, but you figured out the problem

I perfer nvidias drivers personally... I was going to go with the 4870 1gb, but after looking at benchs im prolly going to go with the new 260
