Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Thanks for the advice. I have set everything to factory default, ram was still running at approx 2.18-2.2 (see below if what im saying isn't making sense). I may run another 10 hour memtest86+ just to be sure.
See above, and see my previous post below, I only used the deundervolt option...
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
KERNAL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
STOP etc etc.
All of the above...
the only driver that is mentioned in all of the dumps is ntkrnlpa.exe

btw anyone else know how to further force memory voltage down (already forced it down -1...
Sorry to necro this thread, but I have a problem with the MIT on my gigabyte board.
I know these boards have a default dd2 memory voltage of 1.8,
My ddr2 overvolt was set at +1, but my memory was running at 2.18,
I thought that was strange (my memory is rated 1.8-1.9), so I set it from...
I am using the gigabyte bios to set the ram voltage with the M.I.T. section after hitting ctrl-f1 to unlock "deovervolt" voltage (i.e. turning the voltage down, but it only allows -1, no lower).
This may be a bit more a nuanced question so I understand if there isn't an easy answer
I am running a gigabyte ep35-ds3l mobo with award bios, I entered the advanced memory setting by hitting ctrl-f1 during startup. Basically, my bios default memory voltage should be ~1.8. When I first...
Hmmm, turns out I am actually running g.skill instead of the OCZ i remembered, must have traded the old ones to a friend or something
my voltage says 2.18, apparently these should run between 1.8-1.9, sorry I know virtually nothing about RAM, should I go into bios and try to force this...
I put it plug and play into my mobo (perhaps im an idiot), should I attempt to adjust to see if this is the issue? It is currently running 2.18v

Thanks Danny, 4850 might be a winner, decent price decent boost (not having to drive all over creation or wait for a deal is nice too!)...I...

Note:
At one point I noticed one of the ram heatsinks was slightly unglued (one half of it was not touching, note this is a TINY HEATSINK). I have reapplied paste to the...
I have a very very small system
4 gigs of ram (OCZ forget model, @ stock timings)
e5200 @ stock
8800gt (+duorb cooler) @ stock
gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L mobo
audigy 2 zs
1x 3-platter (200gb) ATA HDD
120mm casefan
80mm casefan
My GPU and CPU temps are ice cold (I know 8800gt runs hot...
I have been logging my GPU temps while playing mw2, I idle at 44-46 and under load its 54 at the 30-1 hour mark, slightly higher (but always under 60) after a few hours.
This card obviously is rated to 90/100C, I have no idea why this would crash my game, but it seems the only logical...
There are 8 ram chips on the 8800gt. I have a duorb cooler and it came with tiny ram heatsinks. One of the heatsinks of the ram chip right underneath the left fan of the duorb has fallen off. My card's core temp with air cooling never idles above 47.
I know I shouldn't game/stress my card...
Almost positive its the ram heatsink, in the following picture it would be the leftmost bronze heatsink, as you can tell it would be right under the left fan, maybe i could get it back on with tweezers i dunno.
Will this fry my card if i dont play games on it until I get it fixed? If it makes a...
