I had one as well. It really is great for the money, was a good upgrade from my Acer XB270HU that I had for 5+ years. Ended up getting $9.90 in Dell rewards last time, so on top of the $50 Gift Card, you'll get around $10 in Dell Rewards.
A scam is a scam, but the EVGA step-up is not a scam. It will, however, appear to some people who have never gone through it, that it could be one.
I got my answer from EVGA pretty quickly. This is why I continue to buy EVGA products, lol.
Is there a link that states that you have to wait a year? This is all I see from the EVGA Support Site:
https://www.evga.com/support/stepup/#:~:text=There%20is%20currently%20no%20limit,%2C%20per%20person%2C%20per%20household.
There is currently no limit to the number of times customers may use...
How does this work, exactly? How would I request a step-up? Nm, found the EVGA forums. I'll do my step-by-step here for others. Detailed instructions are here:
1. Buy a KR card (read OP): https://www.evga.com/Products/ProductList.aspx?type=0
2. Receive card and register it...
