this has 16 pipes & clocked faster, GTO only has 12..
price has really come down on these, same as the GTO after rebate... $89 can't beat it.
The last ATI card I had was a 9700pro, like 4-5 years ago. Had Nvidia stuff since then. So I slap a X850XT card in my machine as I'm about to reinstall windows and it starts locking up about halfway through, so just incase I unhook my second harddrive, exterior fans, cpu back to stock and take...
I agree with that... The 7600gt is great but they're still $165, $145 AR... The X850XT has 16 pipes and 256 bit memory, the 7600gt only has 12 pipe's with 128 bit memory, although it is clocked faster (& has SM 3.0 support)... The question on which one is faster depends on the game being...
Exactly, regular price is $459... Usually goes down to $369 every now and then (every other week or something).... just add the link as a favorite and check it everytime you get on your pc... and yeah, the $160 was a mistake, but apparently some people got in on it before they fixed the price...
Out of those, definitely the ACER... but why not save up just a tad more and get a 20.1 with much better resolution ??? Those 19" widescreen's have less vertical size then a regular 17".... And btw, there are plenty of online stores here in the US that have that same Acer 19" widescreen for...

I'd rather have the better resolution with the 20.1's instead of that 1440x900, but for the price you can't beat it :D
