True. I considered going the eBay route. But I'm just worried about problems, dead pixels, and things like that. It would be nice to be able to return it easily like you can with Dell. I guess there's no easy answer to getting an S-IPS Dell right now.

I'm not sure how far off it is, but do you think next year's model of the 2007WFP will go back to the S-IPS panel? Maybe some of use who waited so long might be better off waiting for the next version. I don't know. Just a thought. I'm pretty sure because of where I live, I'll be getting...

Cruz..... Did Dell give you any hassles about exchanging a refurb monitor just because of a dead pixel? The 21 satisfaction thing still applies?

I want to get a 2007WFP. But I have really bad luck, and don't like my chances gettting an S-IPS panel. I was thinking of trying to pick one up from SAM'S or eBay. Is there any way to tell the panel type by the numbers or codes on the box? I'm guessing no, but I thought I'd ask. Thanks!
