Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Looks like my GB board didn't make the cut either. Not so sure that's a bad thing. Piecemeal upgrades sometimes *sound* like a good idea, but often they draw out alot of grief. Also, how 'crippled' will a BD chip in an AM3 board be, and how will you feel about it? I think I'd have getting that...
I went to check on this issue, fired up the player and was prompted that there was an update. After updating I can now see the vm on the network. Dunno if it was actually the update that fixed this, or if it was strictly pilot error :-P In any case, I'm set with this.
I'm getting started with vm's and am experimenting with VMware Player. Quite cool. I have a question on how this is working. I have a Win7 vm on a Win7 host. Should I expect to be able to see the vm on my network from the host and map a drive to it from the host?
