    Be careful with ram usage stats - quite often ram will be claimed even if it is not used directly. A 8GB machine will use more ram than a 4GB one running the same programs @1080p. Above 1080p yes, you need way more vram. Video ram is a bit different to DDR/2/3 though and I admit I don't know...
