I think something like the Scythe Ninja Wire is what I had in mind. I like the fact that it has adjustable fittings to take up the slack. I may go for it if I can't figure out a way to prop up the cooler from the case bottom.
With some new even heavier CPU coolers appearing on the market, I am wondering if they are at or over the limit of what a motherboard can support in a vertical position, even with a backplate as part of the design.
