    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

I have some pretty bad bowing on top of my FW900 and haven't found a way to fix it. The top left and right corners sag by about 1/16" . Tried adjusting S-pin on Windas but that only seems to adjust bowing on the sides. Does anyone have a suggestion on how this issue could be improved?

    Odyssey Neo G8 - 4K 240 Hz 32" Quantum Mini LED

When did Vega say scanlines went away? Just searching the thread it seems he still had them.

    24" Widescreen CRT (FW900) From Ebay arrived,Comments.

Very interesting stuff, I have a rig with an RTX 3090 TI and a (Pascal) Titan XP and have gotten 1440i @ 144hz to work with an Alfais HDMI adapter (caps at ~350 MHz) I got from someone in the CRT discord (I render on the 3090 TI, output HDMI over the Titan XP) . I also have an AMD R9 380x, and...

    Odyssey Neo G8 - 4K 240 Hz 32" Quantum Mini LED

It doesn’t seem like the G8 is going to be much brighter in real world use… like the Neo G9 it seems to peak at around ~1000 nits, which is the same as the AW34, and like you mentioned the AW has better contrast.

    Odyssey Neo G8 - 4K 240 Hz 32" Quantum Mini LED

I received an AW34 as well this week... So you are saying the Neo G8 is better than the AW34 or better than the PG32?

    Odyssey Neo G8 - 4K 240 Hz 32" Quantum Mini LED

LOL. I probably don't even want to bother with it if pretty much every panel has it, like the Neo G9, I know I'll return it. Already have a PG32... so this wasn't necessary.

    Odyssey Neo G8 - 4K 240 Hz 32" Quantum Mini LED

Has anyone actually gotten one of these without the scanlines issue? I received mine today but am afraid to unbox it. If all/most of them have the scanlines then I'll just return it.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

FWIW, I think the PG32UQX's brightness is overkill for HDR in a dark room... 1000 nits for highlights (if it can achieve it) should be more than enough. However, if you're gaming in a relatively bright room the UQX is obviously the better alternative, and the higher PPI is also nice.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

They are saying 1000 nits at 3% for the QD-OLED monitor. Additionally, one of the main advantages it has over wRGB is that it can achieve higher color brightness (even if the wRGB can get higher peak for white), so it will probably offer a better HDR experience than the LG OLED TV's... it might...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I think it's unlikely to hit those 1000 nits even for highlights in any usable mode (since those amounts tend to be overstated). However, it will demolish the Asus in terms of pixel response time, blacks, and price... it's possible that it might offer a better HDR experience given the amount of...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

How can you get 10% off? my understanding is that Alienware monitors are excluded from the email sign up offer.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

So... That Alienware QD-OLED monitor is going to cost just $1,300. Seems like that could destroy the high end mini-led PC monitor market.. I'd guess that either prices will go down significantly or manufacturers will stop making them...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I finally started using the monitor. My unit has no dead pixels or pressure points, however, I'm having the same issues described by Hypez and Hubba Bubba on Page 21, in which yellow reflections appear when a bright object is shown against a grey background (but not against black). This seems...

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

It was $2400 New this week. I bought it for $2550 last week and got it priced adjusted to $2400 on Tuesday. Seems like they are no longer selling it for $2,400.

    PG32UQX - ASUS 32" 4K 144 Hz HDR1400 G-Sync Ultimate

I definitely do not expect this monitor's price to be the same or lower than the inferior version. Either 1) the PG32UQX will be phased out (see my original message I made a caveat for this), or 2) The PG32UQXE will be sold for less than $2000 by end of year. Seems extremely unlikely the PG32UQX...
