New TV for the 'rents $1000

I have the 42" Vizio full hd and it's great. Picture is far better than my sisters Sony especially once I played a little with the settings that are always outta wack out of the box. Amazing quality and you really can't beat the bang for your buck.

In the market for a LCD.

I have the Vizio SV420XVT and it has been a great purchase. I wasn't all that familiar with Vizio when I bought it but did a lot of research since it isn't a big name brand and discovered that they really have progressed in terms of technology lately and went for it. It took some tweaking...

Picked up a 42'' 120Hz Vizio - Some thoughts in general

Yeah, worked it out and now it's great. Just can't get over the difference it made when watching games. Some people think it's "too real" though and get queasy, which I don't get at all.

Picked up a 42'' 120Hz Vizio - Some thoughts in general

I have the SV420XVT too and love it, but definitely had to play with some of the settings. I actually went a head and called Vizio support, who were surprisingly good and they gave me suggestions along with some that I found online and here.

Vizio VO37LF - expecting too much?

Glad to see it all worked out too. I had a few minor image issues when I first got my Vizio SV420XVT and it took a little while to figure out that it was all settings stuff, but I calle d the Vizio support and they were really helpful in recommending settings. Also, google settings and you can...

    HTCP: Quality on the CHEAP!

Try the Vizio SV47XVT, which has 1080p, 120hz and all the bells and whistles. It should go down pretty low for the black friday/holiday season and has gotten great reviews. I think I saw another one in this months "best electronics" issue of CR, which doesn't hurt. I have the 42inch and have...

    Vizio Eco TV

Anyone seen the Vizio announcements about their Eco TV? I already have their SV420XVT but trying to eco-friendly and all while possibly looking for a smaller reasonably priced tv. I'm looking at their VO32L & LF models too. Thoughts? December CR seems to like them a lot and I have a feeling...

Official Vizio VMM26 thread. The ultimate LCD monitor?

That's too bad, but selfishly thanks for posting and checking it out. My cousin has a VMM26 he loves and I'm considering getting one myself. I don't move around all that much so the angle really isn't much of a factor for me and the rest looked pretty good especially for that price.

    32" HDTV suggestions

I just got one of Vizio VO32LF models and have been really happy with it. Got it because I got one of their 42inch XVTs and have been really impressed and needed something smaller for my bedroom. The 32 is 1080p, 3 HDMI inputs, all the fun stuff and really good picture quality. I bet if you...

Official Vizio VMM26 thread. The ultimate LCD monitor?

My cousin has one, so second-hand, but I have worked on it once or twice. Very nice. It is glossy, but I like that and for gaming, which he does a lot, he loves it. I have a Vizio LCD tv, which I like but I know that is different.
