I have used a tablet before - I used a Toshiba tablet once before, and was able to control it with my finger - just like my Dell Axim. At least that's what I recall..... Even so, the screen has one level of sensitivity if the pen is what controls sensitivity.
As far as the Cintiq... yes...
Do you know what the Cintiq is? It is a drawing tablet with a monitor built in.
So, why would I want to throw down the $3k for the Wacom Cintiq, when I could get the EXACT SAME PERFORMANCE plus an entire notebook computer for less than $2k? I'm missing something here... There's gotta be...
Read: A Tablet PC is NOT a drawing tablet. A tablet PC is simply touch sensitive - a tablet like the Wacom is magnetic. You won't get high res output, pressure sensitivity, or angle recognition out of a tablet.
