    raid +1 it makes an exact duplicate on 2nd drive if drive 1 fails. as well having another computer on network to copy all sensative files to. Or norton ghost.

    Hot temps with AMD 3200+ Winchester Non OC

    cpu idle at 30 degrees celcius here at idle. but mine is venice core and not oc'eed. brought mine up to 48 at load. best way i used to test load. by going to geissworks, getting dremples. 100% cpu usage guarenteed. watch cpu temps go up.

    heat is bad for drives the coller they can run the longuer they will last.. yet you cannot expect HDD to last for ever. i myslef use ultimate HD Coolers with a little bit of cpu past between heatsynch and alluminum top side of drive. so far soo good with my setup.. lookup on...

    1st off no ocing? well i would go with MSI, but asus has some nice gidgits... i myself was in same predicament, and i opted for the dfi nf4 sli dr got venice 3200+ due to memory architecturer 4x512 better then 2x1gig 1st off only 1 channel will be used going 2x 1gig high...

    DFI NF4 SLI-DR any one having probs with NAM?

    have you tried to find the file content.gcf over the net and possibly save it to you drive put it on a cd and the re-try it? I've by passed a few install's and felt like i wasted a few cd's doing it this way lol.. gl, hope steam can help ya!
