    That's not right. If it's 1:1 the RAM speed should be 800Mhz. Are you setting the FSB to 333 and multiplier to 9x.

    Sounds pretty high to me, especially if that voltage is correct. IIRC, my Tcase is usually ~5c lower than my hottest core. Hottest core idles at 37c and hottest it gets under Prime is 60c. This is 3.2Ghz at 1.344v. You might want to reseat your hs/f or get better cooling.

    Any one program is just going to give you a narrow check of stability. I had my q6600 up to 3.6 last night crunching small FFTs in Prime without error and CPU-Z just crashed for no reason as Prime kept going.

    I do 50GB for Windows + apps. Games go on a separate partition as they take up a lot more space. I install the OS, updates, drivers, and core apps then image the partition using CloneZillla. Every six or so months I "reboot" the OS clean from the image.

    I installed the Vista x64 Atheros LAN driver from the Asus web site under Windows 7 x86 Ultimate just fine. You need to run the installer in Vista compatibility mode. The Intel chipset drivers installed too.

    You probably need better cooling. Zalman are good quiet coolers but not great overclockers. Plus most recent Q6600s are furnaces. I have a Q6600 G0 and Zalman CNPS7000B. Running at 1.34v to hit 3.2Ghz I can hit 80c running Prime95 after an hour. OCCT 3.0 hits 70c. Working on replacing...
