Does anyone have non-functioning USB ports? My 43UD79-B's USB ports are not functioning, nor was the replacement unit, so i've tried TWO of these and neither one has functioning USB ports. I've tried different cables, and tested the cables first, still can't get it to work.

Like many, my USB hub in the LG (i.e. the USB-3 ports) are not functioning at all. I have tried 3 different different USB A to C cables, from two separate host machines, none of them recognize the hub (on the LG) exists. Has anyone found a solution to fix this issue? Thank you.

Aren't there numerous downsides to using a TV as a monitor? i. e. Non tilting stand, doesn't turn off after no signal is detected (pc turned off for the day), etc.

i'm not certain that this is true at all. there are many options for DisplayPort cables even longer than 15 feet. if one were to get a DisplayPort cable that is DP1.2 or DP1.2a, or DP1.3, or even DP1.4, yet, use it with this particular LG43UD79-B, then only a portion of the available bandwidth...
