    Core2 DUO TEMP IsSuE!!

    Both CPUs are at the stock speed (1.86ghz) @ 1.28V, and using AS5 as the TIM. My e6300 (L627A823, Retail) temps are (using Core Temp): Core #1 / Core #2 Idle: 42C / 37C Load: 57C / 53C (100% Load with TAT) This is with the stock HSF @ ~880 rpm in an Antec Solo My friend's e6300...

    CoreTemp says one core hotter than other?

    Using the Intel TAT and CoreTemp, I get the following temps for my e6300 w/ stock HSF. Core #1 / Core #2 Idle: 42C / 37C (5-degree difference) Load: 57C / 53C (4-degree difference) It looks like most chips have a 0-2 degree difference b/w cores, but mine has 4-5 degree difference...
