Remove all PCI cards and leave just the basics (mobo + cpu + ram+ videocard), reset the BIOS from jumper and then power up. If you get a NO GO then something is damaged, mostly the motherboard i think.
No, don't do that. Those are the same Prescott s478 CPUs in a new package. They are filthy in the matter of heat dissipation + the new 925/915 chipset is not flashy at all. Go with 875P.
