This is how you know AMD isn't Intel. Not only do you not have to throw out your old board, but you also don't need the new board to take advantage of the compatible CPU feature sets. It's a good time to be an AMD buyer that's for sure.
Glad to see the new Ryzen continuing the legacy it's predecessor set before it. I love my 1700X, and will be holding out for third gen Ryzen before upgrading again. Now is an exciting time to buy a new CPU from AMD after closing that gap for real toe to toe competition.
ARM can be licensed by anyone. As long as AMD or Intel can make a robust implementation of ARM, that could be the deciding factor on future enterprise purchases. AMD K12 anyone?
I still have order verification as well. I reached out to newegg business customer service to cancel and they said they couldn't. Live and learn, yet another reason not to use newegg, it's gone downhill.

Walmart Family Mobile has unlimited talk, text, and data for $35, but I think only the first 1 gb is 4g. I've just started using it recently, it's a lot better service than my previous MVNO, Ting.
This may be due to the notated horrendous DPC latency that is common with the Xonar series. Uninstall the drivers, and try reinstalling with the Uni Xonar drivers as shown above, but using either the low DPC option or the C-Media control panel option that prompts during install...
