    I did an RRD graph of the interface and I don't think the 10G fiber is the bottleneck. We had it on a 1G copper and that was bottlenecking. I'll have to take a look at the IO wait times which could be drastically worse if we're hosting VMs on it.

    I made a iscsi SAN at work using software iscsi target/initiators. 16 drives, raid 50 (8+8) but we're only using 7200 rpm sata drives. We're on 10G fiber, but the write speed is only 322MB/sec and read is 341MB/sec. We got 62MB/sec read/write unraided just on local storage on the same drives...

    Mix 120hz w/ 60hz monitor

    Just wanted to chime in about this. I have 3 monitors and my middle display is 120hz while the two on the sides are 60hz. I have no problem using all three displays. The only thing I cant do is play eyefinity unless everything is set to 60hz.
