just a heads up, i figured out the issue (at least on my end). basically, even if you are running 64bit Windows 7, you should run the 32bit version of Crysis.

Just a heads up, be careful with placing the card in the last (lowest) slot. That places the intake fans on the Twin Frozr III extremely close to the bottom of the case, which may starve them.
Fortunately in the Fractal Design XL case there is a panel i was able to remove between the bottom...
I've just built a system with two MSI R6950 Twin Frozr III's and temps are not an issue.
