Well, I think I'm just going to get the 780i, as the solid caps don't matter too much with the lifetime warranty. And the waterblock does nothing for me :).
If you really want SLI, I recommend an EVGA 780i. I'm also building a new gaming computer atm, and for SLI that board looks to be one of the best. All of the 780i boards are virtually the same, only, the EVGA board also comes with a lifetime warranty. At the same time, there are known issues...
I still say "ftw" all the time.. :(
So ya, I guess I'm leaning towards the 780i board. Hell, who cares if its lifespan is shorter than if it had solid caps? Lifetime warranty ftw.
See what I did there?
Supposedly the 780i FTW has an ETA of sometime in May. Was April/May, but the April half only has a few days left!
And don't be laying hate on EVGA now ;)
Supposedly the fan on the northbridge of the 750i is a bit loud, and its second PCIe slot for a gpu is only x8 instead of x16. I've...
So I just bought two of these 22" monitors from Tigerdirect, and one of them works perfectly, but the other is being a bit weird. The image coming from the DVI port is normal, but the image from the VGA port creates very thin horizontal white lines across the screen when I drag windows. Also...
Has anyone heard of a probable price of the EVGA 780i FTW? Also, do you think the solid state caps and the better cooling will be reason enough to wait for the board to come out, and to pay the extra money for it? Thanks.
Hmm, thanks for the replies :D. I just remembered this card as well.. EVGA 8800 GT 512mb that comes with the Akimbo heatsink and external vent (dual slot cooler). It's factory overclocked to 720mhz core and 2000mhz memory. But then it's the same price as the 8800GTS... lol
Soo, factory...
So I've been debating between the two for weeks, looked at benchmarks, etc. and still can't decide!

Am I missing something but why would you pay $1200 for a 25.5"?? And with 15ms you'll get ghosting!
If you really want the 25.5" dimensions why not a Westinghouse? $450AR on newegg. NEC LCD LCD2690WUXI
Also has 5ms :). Personally I'd go with a 24" samsung, but thats just me.
