it is my understanding that you want to run only one node per external IP address and have that node talk to the individual harvesters. That said I did finally get a block yesterday morning with 348 plots so far.

I am just using Nicehash, lately it has been running t-rex quite a bit. Profits are really high right now with ETH being up so much.

I don't see any difference in whether I am plotting or not.

No slow down at all. ETH is a GPU and Chia is CPU, Mem and SSD speed. My plotting rig is running a 1080ti mining ETH as well.

You might be able to get a few cents a day mining monero with that cpu but otherwise your GPU is really too old.

Up to 87 plots and no chia yet. I am still working on optimization the plotting throughput.

Yeah I can do 8 plots in parallel but its 15 hours or so, that makes it really hard to keep up. I needed to start two weeks ago.

You don't think Google wouldn't do the same thing to you in heart beat.

Doesn't seem like that matters either, it takes quite a while to do the plots though and they write a lot your SSD like 1.6TB for 101GB plot.

For sure those are all valid points. 18TB drives are all pretty much gone already. I picked a couple of 12TB external for the lowest cost per TB and starting to set it up

I just had a buddy mention that he is worried about SSD shortages due to Chia mining. Has one looked at setting that up yet?

Yeah it turns out only Apple is selling them right now, no third party sellers. Ended up just getting it from Apple.

I am trying to buy an unlocked carrier less iPhone 11 but every one seems to require a carrier well Amazon and Best Buy. Apple will let me but I would rather get the points/rewards if possible. This should not be this hard.
